Switch from PC to Mac: Day 1

Everything that I would ever need is in this little mighty MacBook. I've no regret getting it even the price of it is not low. It's not difficult to use it at all. Menu seem to be very simple for average users. Spotlight is working just like it the way it should be. And oh my god Spaces works like a charm. I mean it. Especially with my 13.3 inch tiny screen. It gives me 4 times of my screen space. I had one space for installing software and setting up my Leopard, one space for browsing web, one space for music, one space for video and text chatting. Just press control 1,2,3,4 or arrows. It's just like that simple. I haven't try all the applications that comes with it yet. But one thing I'm sure is, it won't disappoint me.

iTunes is doing a great job in helping me organizing music. The EQ is functioning right. One thing that it's lack of is the WOW effect and TruBass, which could be found in Windows Media Player. But hey, what matters the most is the quality of sound. I can tell you that it sounds very nice even on a small laptop like this. I'm happy with it.

Finally, the dock is my personal favorite. It's keeping all the documents and applications organized in a neat way. Some people like the Windows Start bar. It's up to the user really. Some people like seeing icons instead of a box full of text on a bar. Vice Versa..

USB is just a simple plug and play better than Windows asking you a whole bunch of silly questions before you can really use it. My wireless mouse here is a great example. I don't have to setup anything for it. Scroll-wheel is working yea..you know!

Time for bed here! Open-mouthed
