Switch from PC to Mac: Day 2

I copied some mandolin instruction CD to my mac. So i can just play it from my mac without take my CDs in and out. The beauty of it is my mac has everything i need now. I moved music and videos from my PC to Vista again today. The VLC player here on mac has adjustable EQ!!! which means I can adjust the sound however i want.

At the same time while I was listening to music, I found out that if you move the iTunes Pre-amp band over 0 db, sound will get distorted although it's louder. I recommend any music lovers not to adjust that pre-amp band unless you need to. Adjusting the master volume won't distorted your music. It gives you totally clarity. Try it with your headphones if you don't believe me. This MacBook's sound card is better than my Gateway desktop. I had to boost the bass so much when I'm using my flat sounding AudioTechnica headphone. With my MacBook I don't need that much boost to get the equal amount of bass.

I did more further testing on speech command. Although the command line is "switch to ...", in some cases I tried with "go to ...". It isn't as reliable as "switch to ...". Leopard does recognize any application that is not created by Apple. I'm able to command 'Adium' and 'AOL Radio'. That makes the speech recognition a better tool.

Safari's widget cutter is so nice. Just like Steve Jobs' in keynote presentation he showed the world how simple and easy it was, and yes it's just like that.

The transition from PC to Mac is great. Just do a little research online and bam! You got it. Whoever that's reading it that needs assist, I'm more than happy to help you!
