I'd been listening to heavy rock music again in the past two days

I dug up some of my favorite rock music in the past and start listening again, just for the heck of it. I'm loving the rock drumming and booming bass. Once you started listening to rock music, it'd take time to adjust back to another genre of music. That's based on my own experience. It's hard to cross between genres, once you're at it.

Some of my essential rock bands are:

• Rage Against the Machine
• The Presidents of The United States of America
• Sevendust
• Incubus
• Metallica
• Foo Fighters
• Nirvana
• System of A Down

I really want to put down Radiohead here, but they're not a rock band now in my book

Among those bands, only these existing bands Radiohead, RATM, PUSA, Incubus and Foo Fighters consistently wrote at least a few great songs in each of their albums over the years. I'm a bit bias on PUSA since I really like them.
