Aynur: Turkish & Kurdish traditional folk music

Turkish traditional music is the darkest music i've ever heard. Their drumming techniques are so unique. This vocalist i found in FabChannel.com is phenomenal. She can go up a few octaves without problem. The most interesting thing is the backing band. They got a plucking string instrument sounds close to mandolin. They also got a western instrument violin, flute and some modern hand drums, conga and cymbols. The coordination between flute, violin, and saz/balgama were just perfect. Fans were dancing ...weeeee

The music is some serious stuff. It sounds very sophisticated. It resembles irish music a little bit. That's world I love world music so much. It just clicks when it sound right! I don't even know what they're saying. I highly recommend you to check out her concert. The band was brilliant!
