Dunlop Ultex .73 plectrums arrived and tested

Plectrum contribute 1/4 of the sound you play on a mandolin, 1/4 comes from the string, 1/4 comes from your skill and the other 1/4 comes to your mandolin. That's how I look at it. I ordered some Dunlop Ultex .73 hoping to experiment. It turned out to be a pick that's not giving the thick sound i wanted. The sound was very snappy and thin, not my liking. The Tortex.88 is still my exclusive pick that I would use. It reigns still!!!
