I wonder how far I can go with Garageband. I still can't believe a tool/software like this comes with Leopard without paying an extra penny. Furthermore, there's a huge update which includes more sound effects and instrument selections in it. Believe or not, it has plenty of instruments in this software. The only thing that I cannot find is orchestra. I want some cellos and violins. I think i can get the garageband sound package somewhere. I'll find out
The grand piano sounds really good when sustain is on. I tried to add in some percussion to my track. It doesn't sound too natural to me no matter how many times I try to record it. The only beats that I can generate is some dance beats which is usually not that hard. Unless there's a beat generator, I doubt I could make good beats out of it. Overall, It's very fun to compose music on my own! I wish I knew how to play piano >.<
The beauty of it Garageband is, I could export the track to iTunes player and listen to it or even share it. Alright! The quality of sound is breathtaking. I was amazed by what I've composed even I randomly threw some notes in it.
