Switch from PC to Mac: Day 4

I still haven't watch any DVDs or high quality videos on my mac yet. I'll do that IF i find time to do that. Also, I was reading the new Apple news. There's that songwriter record his music with his GarageBand on a Black MacBook! That's exactly what I have. That really motivates me to try the GarageBand software even I might not have any idea how to use it yet. It sounds more like a tool to produce dance/remix music more than a recording tool.

I was trying to re-size my edited photos from a super huge size to a size that fits my screen. I guess I must've used the wrong program (iPhoto).

My upcoming item on my to-do list would be searching for a free photo editing tool that can re-size photos.

Leopard recognizes any camera that you plug in thru a USB port. Like my new camera Nikon CoolPix S210. I didn't have to install anything to my mac. All I did was connect my camera to my mac and vola! It opens up iPhoto and I can import photos I want. Plus, it does take long to load the image thumbnails. Unlike windows it really takes a long time to load the photos one by one...

I set up Expose and Spaces corner shortcut. When I move my mouse to the designated corner of the screen. It launches the appropriate function that I selected. Ex. My left bottom corner set as expose, right bottom corner as spaces. I try not to have the upper corners set to anything since I always have to use the menu bar on the top. It tends to mis-launch when I was selecting things on the menu bar.
