16th December 2007: A quiet day

I woke up early today because of the snow and ice. I had to move my car off the driveway for uncle's car to get out. I went to sleep for a few hours after. I picked up my guitar and played a few tunes. It's very quiet here...yea...unbelievably quiet. I had to play some music to fuel my day. I ate some fried rice for lunch (two big bowls). Then I decided what's in the theater this week. "I am Legend" with Will Smith opened this week. So I hopped in my car and saw that movie. The story is somewhat common, meaning it's really not that special. I expected to see more action. In addition, I also see 'The Mist' by Stephen King. It's a suspense/gore type of movie. The ending is a bit strange. I have no idea why it has to end this way. Oh well! It's not up to me.

Our company decided to pay us back all the OT since June, 2007. I got quite some back. Also, they chatted with me about my plan for next year. They also told me that I should do what I enjoy in my life. They said they all enjoy what they've been doing. I wanted to tell them that I really don't know. I'm not learning much at this company and I know that I won't learn much in the future either because of the nature of this small company. I'll figure something out next year if necessary. I feel like I should not waste more time here as well. I don't feel like I've grown in the past year. It's a good chance for me to think it over during my vacation in Hong Kong. Friends can help me out and perhaps I'd come up with a solution and set a new goal.

The past few weeks I'd been listening to Sheryl Crow and Cardigans' music. Currently I'm searching for new music to listen to. Almost all the music that I listen to came from the 90s. I think I'll try some 60s-80s, beatles, beach boys era... I'll see how it go.
