I didn't spend time taking photos for my M-3. Here it is. Of course I play more than taking pictures of it. I love the raw mandolin sound it gives. Walnut has that dry hollow sound which is different from Maple. It has plenty of bass when I need it. I love the no marking fretboard. It looks gorgeous this way. Scale length is wider/longer than I thought. The frets are thicker, the stock strings are heavy gauge. That's the design of it i believe. The neck is bit thicker than I thought, that also inherits a wider fretboard. It takes a little time to adjust. I'm no expert. Those are my initial thoughts. It's not bluegrasses' cup of tea. The oil finish on the wood is so thin. It actually came off. The neck turned a bit dark after a few weeks of daily practice. This instrument requires extra care on humidity, or the top will really crack. I'll watch out for that.
