Tested my Big Muddy M-3, sounds great!

Feels different on the neck. Sounds great. It gives very bright sound. The bass was not overwhelming like the oval A-style mandolins. Only thing that I afraid the most is the spruce top, I afraid it'll crack. Let's hope not..

I had to change it to the lower bridge to make the action lower. I had problem tuning it though. It's not really up to tune from the 12 frets on. Close enough at least..The fretboard is much wider than I anticipate. Scale is larger than I would imagine. Low, mid, high sound are all balanced. Walnut back gives a nice resonance with warm tone. Craftmanship is nice. Edges are little too sharp especially on the fretboard. Easy to play. Non-adjustable bridge makes it hard to change up a bit with minor adjustments. I know it comes with two extra bridges for higher, lower action. It's still better to have a adjustable one. Nice and light to grab it up and practice a few tunes.
