My first Mandolin!

This mandolin is made by Eastman, a US company that famous at crafting instruments (violin, mandolin, guitar) in China. They actually make very fine instrument. The craftmanship is top notch. It's way ahead of Morgan Monroe. I'm not too sure about the material that they used for this mandolin. They claimed aged tonewood was used. The way it sounds is very hollow with lots of mid and bass. However treble is growing day by day as well. It has lots of sustain. Beautifully crafted in Beijiing, China. The action is a little bit high but I'll adjust it later on. Overall, it's a very nice mando that is absolutely not for beginner level. It's way beyond my level if you ask me. This really encourages me to practice harder every day. Man..I should say mandolin requires more finger strength and stretch compare to guitar. It's a challenging instrument but I'm willing to learn. It sounds really good when it plays right.
